"Everything was really interesting for me. Listening to all the different experiences and feeling as one family sharing common life and experiences. It would be nice to create a community and to help each other and to create an run projects together, to have monthly events which everyone can present and share his or her own experience."

"Hearing and learning about the current and ongoing issues around mental health in the UK. Hearing about how current artists are making work about mental health. The role of art today. Hearing peoples experiences gave me hope that my mental health situation will not affect my creativity."

"Would be god to include ideas of how artists can work with new media and technologies."

"Listening to artists talking about their own work- the film about psychosis which was brilliant. Thank you for letting me share Simba's work it was great to talk to people."

"It's been inspiring and heartwarming and educational, wonderful people and amazing stories. The journeys that people have been on, their courage to share and their inspiring achievements."

"Some fantastic speakers would try and swap email addresses. Finding out about all of the organisations in London that deal with art and mental health. Really great event. Well done- feeling v. inspired"

"The diverse representations- people/projects and art forms/subjects offered- plus their 'honesty' was refreshing- not sugar coated journeys!! "beauty in the raw"- most encouraging/appreciated. Thanks to Jacqueline Ennis-Cole and Daniel Regan and everyone."

"The combination of artists work with more of an explanation of its creation/existence. Thank you for this forum- I look forward to future events/work."

-Selected responses from an audience of 47 participants, 91 signed up for the event
